“A delightful romp! It’s snappy and happy and a great escape holiday read.”

About the book:

Dating while social distancing – a LOL read!”

“If you like Sophie Kinsella, you’ll love award-winning author Maggie Aldrich.”

Mask-wearing, social distancing Kinsey Mullrooney would rather not bring a date to the annual work holiday party. How will she keep six feet of distance? Besides, skipping it altogether to watch British telly is much more her style.

But when attendance “plus one” becomes mandatory, she’s forced to scour singles sites for a suitable date. Blimey! She’s got just two weeks!

Bypassing Ted the Serial Killer, she finds a fetching match in the Daniel Craig look-alike, Wyatt. The adorable couple sets off to the party in matching facemasks, chemistry evident between them.

Wyatt is everything she’s hoped for! Fun, friendly, and gorgeous! But when his mood shifts as they depart the festivities, Kinsey realizes she’s committed an uproarious gaffe.

She’s left the party on the arm of the wrong masked man.

“Maggie Aldrich brings to life all the things we love to hate about the coronavirus pandemic in this hilarious and quick read!”

A mysterious English stranger shows up at her homestead and sets everything she thought she knew about her world on end

Monday, December 14th, 2020

Sara Harris makes her home with her family of seven, which includes her romance novelesque husband and her five children.
She holds her BA in history and is currently back in school seeking her BSN.

An Amish settlement. An English stranger. The Blizzard of 1888. Who can Rebekah trust when the line between the Amish and the English becomes blurred?
A sweet and gentle love blossoms between Rebekah Stoll and her childhood friend Joseph Graber, despite attempts by her saucy nemesis, Katie Knepp, to sway the young man’s affections her way.
When Joseph hints at the promise of forever, Rebekah is positive she should say yes to his proposal – until a mysterious English stranger shows up at her homestead and sets everything she thought she knew about her world on end.

Over the remaining two days of their trip, the wagon train of Amish families, moving south from Canada, only saw each other.
Elnora whispered to Heloise as they approached their final stop. “Not a single wagon filled with English people has passed.”
Heloise, however, was much too charmed with Rebekah to be bothered with watching for English wagons. “Such a good-natured baby!” Her voice was awestruck. “At this age, Joseph did nothing but cry.”
Turning her attention back to the baby, Elnora cupped Rebekah’s silken head in her palm and stroked the blonde wisps above her tiny ears. “And she has so much hair!” Elnora’s voice was equally awestruck.
Heloise narrowed her wise, blue eyes. “That means she will be healthy.”
“We’re home!” Samuel announced. “Wilkommen to Daviess County, Indiana Territory!”
Elnora plopped Rebekah into a quilt-lined basket. Her eyes welled as Samuel helped her from the wagon. “Oh Samuel, it looks just like Germany!”
He beamed. “So you are happy then?”
“I am so happy! Danke! What a beautiful place to raise a family. And there is ample wood for your woodworking -” Shifting, Elnora gestured wide with one arm toward the thick woods that ringed the clearing. Oak trees that seemed to scratch the floor of heaven stood tall and majestic, their leaves waving in the tender breeze. Shorter, wider trees blooming in varying shades of snowy white and blush pinks punctuated the deep greens and browns of the oaks, giving the entire area a magical feel.         Samuel’s large hand came to rest on her shoulder, disrupting her gracious spiel.
“Dear Wife, I will go in to Montgomery tomorrow to find an English family to take the child. It will be best for everyone if she is with her own kind.”
Elnora sucked in a hard breath and willed the sudden fringe of tears not to spill onto her cheeks. She held Samuel’s gaze. There she saw the same dull ache she felt beneath her ribs.
With a calming breath, the threat of tears subsided and Elnora’s face softened. She patted her husband’s hand. “If it is best for Rebekah, then you must do as you will,” she agreed. The tugging on the tender ends of her shattered heart, however, didn’t concur.

While a thief plagues his castle, an old nemesis reappears, and enemies invade in the guise of guests

Wednesday, November 18th, 2020

Rachel Rossano is a happily married mother of three children. She spends her days teaching, mothering, and keeping the chaos at bay. After the little ones are in bed, she immerses herself in the fantasy worlds of her books. Tales of romance, adventure, and virtue set in a medieval fantasy world are her preference, but she also writes speculative fantasy and a bit of science fiction.

After her father uproots the family to the northern duchy of Brackenhurst, Grace Eldon and her four younger sisters struggle with a new life of hardship. Desperate to keep a roof over their heads amid mounting debts, she and her youngest sister seek employment in the Duke of Brackenhurst’s household despite fearsome rumors.
Scarred and maimed from a terrible fire Silas Isling, Duke of Brackenhurst, buries himself in his work to avoid the stares of pity and fear. When one of the new maids shows no fear at his appearance, he is intrigued. That is until his meddling steward gives her the task of cleaning Silas’ bookroom. It is a most unwelcome disruption since he prefers to be alone.
While a thief plagues his castle, an old nemesis reappears, and enemies invade in the guise of guests. Amidst the distractions and chaos, Grace brings some unexpected order. Once convinced his scars had stolen all hope for love, Silas finds his life forever changed by the quiet maid. Could she love a scarred Duke?

The rain slowed and then stopped as we trekked over the first rise beyond the village.

Wait until I tell Amity.” Beauty jostled my shoulder as she gripped my hand with both of hers.

I pulled the sack with our purchases out from between us, praying that she hadnt squished the bread. We hurried along the muddy path, sidestepping the deepest puddles and avoiding the soaked knee-high grasses as best we could.

Lord Brackenhurst is a giant.” Beauty hissed the word in my ear like a child, marveling with equal parts wonder and horror. He stands at least four hands taller than Father.”

He is tall,” I admitted, hoping that would be the end of it. I didnt want to dwell on our difficult conversation with our new lord and master. Our new home, the tenant-holding my mother grew up on, lay beyond the next hill and about an hours walk from the village. Our middle sisters would have dinner prepared and the table set by the time we arrived home. If we hurried, there might still be enough to blunt the sharp emptiness of my stomach.

Is he taller than any man you have met?” Beauty shoved at my shoulder so hard that I stumbled to the side of the path in my effort to keep my balance and avoid a particularly deep puddle. The bread and the apothecary’s small pouch of herbs for grandmother bounced against my hip.

Aye. Please dont jostle me so.”

And his hands!” She sucked in a great breath in awe. The one we saw was the size of my head!”

You have a small head.”

No smaller than yours.” She dragged at my arm so that my joints ached. Come and admit it, Grace. He was a sight to behold.”

I wasnt willing to admit anything. I just wanted to go home, back to Braulyn and the great port of Mayfair. I longed to breathe the tangy scent of the sea air and feel the sand beneath my toes. Not even the impressive, hulking sight of our new master could overcome that longing.

My, was he ugly! Those scars! I have never beheld such a mangled visage—”

Cease!” I yanked my hand free of Beautys viselike grip. Leave the poor wretch alone.” I took three steps further along the rutted path before I realized Beauty no longer walked with me.

Stopping in the center of the path, I turned back to find her crouched in the grass with her arms about her knees.

Oh, do stop pouting.” I crossed my own arms. We had more important things to discuss, like whether or not we mentioned the contract to our father. The strangely intense bailiff and the far-too-watchful eye of his master had made the terms clear enough. Still, part of me rebelled at signing away half a decade of my life. Not that it changed reality. Father would happily bargain Beautys and my freedom for such a prize as a regular income for which he didnt have to work. He would see it as a chance to turn his fortunes around.

Beauty lifted a prettily damp face to stick her bottom lip out at me. I only spoke the truth.”

Hurtful truth,” I pointed out. A persons character isnt based on their exterior. Neither of us knows the measure of Duke Brackenhursts character. He is to be our new master, and we need to show respect.”

I would prefer a handsome husband.”

Wednesday, September 16th, 2020

Barbara Goss lives in Western New York and to date has written 48 Christian and/or Sweet Romance books, mostly westerns. She enjoys crossword puzzles, penny slots, reading, swimming, and her two cats, but not necessarily in that order. She tries to write exciting stories with a bit of God’s word spread within, without dominating the story.
Barbara began writing in 1988 and her first book, Forbidden Legacy, won first prize for fiction at a Christian Writers Convention in Titusville, Florida in 1989. This won her a book contract with Publishers: Fleming Revell and later Baker Books. She wrote four books for them under contract. She then took a few years off to work full time as a secretary to the county hospital and the local school system.
Barbara’s greatest influence in writing is the 100 books written by Grace Livingston Hill. As a Christian writer, she weaves a bit of godliness into the romance and adventure yet her books are always clean. Barbara is well on her way to catching up to Ms. Livingston.

She is now turning her wonderful e-books into Audiobooks. Look for them on Amazon.

Dr. Connor Beauregard Van Gates the IV, of Hays City, Kansas, and Elsie Crenshaw of Gobbler’s Knob, West Virginia, use a successful matchmaker to bring them together by using questionnaires to sort out their likes and dislikes. However, a CATastrophe occurs and things get very mixed up.

The couple has so many differences that Connor is caught rolling his eyes often. What has he done?

Will it take a band of heartless bank robbers and a lecherous step-father to finally bring them together?

The moon was bright that night and the sky clear, making it less scary for Elsie. She had to rescue Conner, but she didn’t know how to go about doing it.

She soon saw some movement. Someone had stepped out of the mine. Elsie couldn’t see his face, but she knew it was Conner. Another man stood at the mine entrance, watching Conner, who carried a bucket.

Elsie moved in the direction that Conner had gone as quietly as possible, grateful for the thick brush to hide her. She saw him stop at a well, and luckily, there were enough bushes for her to crawl closer to the well. Conner was pumping water. She knew he couldn’t leave because one of the men was watching him from about twenty feet away.

“Conner,” she whispered loudly.

Conner swung his head in her direction, still pumping water. “Elsie?” His voice came out in a whispered squeak of surprise. “What are you doing here?”

“I’m here to bring you home.”

Conner didn’t look at her, but he kept pumping water. “Go home and stay safe. I can handle things. I don’t want to have to worry about your safety, too.”

“How many men are in there?” Elsie asked.

“Two and the… um…patient.”

Elsie could see that the bucket was full, and Conner would need to return to the mine. Before he turned back, he whispered, “Go home!”

“Wait!” Elsie whispered back.

Conner purposely stumbled, spilling half of the water. He turned back to the well to pump more. “What?”

She took a gun from her holster and tossed it near his feet. “I have the other one.”

In the moonlight, Elsie saw Conner’s mouth drop open. They noticed his guard lighting a cigarette, so Conner bent to pick up the gun and stuck it in his boot.

Review from Entrada Publishing:
old saying goes, if you love something, set it free, and if it is
meant to be, it will return. In Gina Ardito’s historical fiction
novel, she explores the idea of lost love, and bitter-sweet
in the fictional country of Amatia, Chesna is the governess of the
young prince Mikhail, as a means to ease her broken heart. Six years
prior, her childhood sweetheart, Pietor was sent off to Russia, and
soon forgot all about Chesna. However, fate will soon bring the two
lost lovers together again, but under dire circumstances. As
Napoleon’s armies march upon Amatia, Chesna finds herself caught
between loyalty to her country, and what her heart desires.
does a masterful job blending real-life historical events, with a
beautifully crafted love story. She crafts a suspenseful and engaging
narrative, taking readers through historical events, and the inner
conflicts within Chesna, and Pietor. The storytelling is beautifully
done as Ardito explores the concept of long-lost lovers, betrayal,
and learning to follow your heart. The narrative flows in an organic
way, with tension masterfully woven throughout. The dynamics between
Chesna and Pietor is natural, and their relationship is very well
with a tender love story, the author sets up a mystery that Chensa,
and Pietor must unravel before it is too late. Readers will be on the
edge of their seats, as they follow along in the race against time.
Chesna must figure out who to trust, and who she can place her faith
those looking for a suspenseful, yet tender love story, Echoes
of Love
a fantastic historical fiction novel. Gina Ardito is a fantastic
writer, and her novel will pull at your heartstrings, as well as
leave you breathless.

honestly don’t know. If I believe you, someone whom I’ve known
all my life wants me dead. I have nowhere to turn and no one whom I
can trust. I am surrounded by enemies on all sides. Do you have any
idea how that makes me feel?”
I kill houseplants. There. Now you know one of my greatest shames. I’m not boasting. I just figure that if you’re reading this, you’re looking for more than how wonderful life is as a writer. You get enough of that elsewhere. Ditto for political rants, how to lose thirty pounds in a week, and creating gorgeous crafts with nothing more than twine and soup cans. My goal is to connect with you, dear reader, even if you’re not a writer, not a New Yorker, not a mother, not a female. We’re human (unless one of us is a spambot), and what we have in common is flaws. So here are a few more of mine:
I sing all the time. I sing songs most people don’t know–jingles from television, crazy stuff I used to listen to on Dr. Demento, Broadway and movie soundtracks, and I can even bum-bum-bum through instrumental music. I sing in the car. In the shower. While I’m grocery shopping. And I headbop while I sing. When I’m not singing, I talk to myself. Just ignore me and move on. You get used to it after a while.
I don’t eat my vegetables. Seriously. I only started eating salad about ten years ago, but I’d still rather have a cookie.
Given the option, I would live in a mall where I would never have to worry about freezing temperatures or too much sun. I’m extremely fair-skinned and could burn under a 60-watt light bulb.
I can’t sleep without background noise so the television’s on all night. If it’s too dark and too quiet, all I have are my thoughts. And even *I* don’t want to be alone with my thoughts.
Don’t ask me to Zumba, line dance, or march in the parade. I have absolutely no rhythm.
I color outside the lines. Not because I’m a rebel, but because I suck as an artist. My artistic ability is limited to being able to draw Snoopy sleeping on his doghouse. And I don’t even draw that well.
Regrets. I have more than a few.
My favorite activity is sleep, and I’m pretty good at it. I don’t clock a lot of hours, but I can powernap like a Persian cat and rejuvenate within ten minutes.
I consider shopping and dining out excellent therapy for anything wrong in my life.
My feet are always cold. Always. My husband of more than a quarter century claims it’s because I’m an alien sent to Earth to destroy him. (He might be right about that.)
Coming to my house for a visit? Unless you’ve given me plenty of advance notice, be prepared. My floor will not be vacuumed, there will be dishes in my sink, and I only make my bed when I change the sheets once a week (I’m climbing back into it ASAP. Why make it?) Housecleaning is not high on my priority list. Okay, to be totally honest, it’s not on the list at all.
I can resist anything…except ice cream.
Since this is our first date, I figure I’ve revealed enough secrets for now. But if you’ve read this bio and think I might be the author for you, pick up one of my books or stalk my website:

I was born in Riverside, California in 1963. My family and I moved to San Diego when I was 7 and I never looked back. I had a very rich life growing up with my brother, David, and best friend Gigi. I married my husband, David in 1998 and we lived in Encinitas, California for a couple of years before moving to Herald, California in 2001. We have a blended family of 6 kids and truly enjoyed the rural life on a 5 1/2 acre ranch, 45 minutes south of Sacramento. I love writing and creating stories that are different from and intriguing. I like to give my readers a little something extra and unexpected. I have always wanted to be a published author, but the timing never seemed right. Raising a family and working fulltime always took precedence. Shortly after I turned 50 I decided that if I continued to put off my dreams, the time would never be right. So, with an idea in my head, I sat down and began writing. I wanted there to be no regrets in my life. What resulted was a historical romance, filled with adventure, suspense, and an underlying epic love story weaved in for good measure and “Angelina’s Secret” was born. I loved everything about the process of writing and there are currently three books in “The Jeweled Dagger Series.” I am very excited about the future and thrilled to be writing fulltime now since I retired from my “9 to 5,” job at the end of April 2017. My husband retired shortly after me and our youngest was a sophomore in college so we decided that it was time that we had an adventure of our own. We made the move to Kalispell, Montana and the adventures just seem to happen every day. We go for hikes in our own backyard or take off for Glacier National Forest on a whim. We currently have seven grandkids, with another one due this August 2018. Being “Grandma and Grandpa” is the icing on the cake for us. I count my blessings every day because I know how lucky I am. Life is good and now I can devote my days to doing what I really love, and that is writing and creating more stories.

What if Mr. Darcy, Mr. Bingley, and all the other refined gentlemen of Pemberley and beyond were not the genteel and mannered men we saw them to be?

True Love Never Fails
True Love Book 1
by Debra-Ann Kummoung
Genre: Historical Romance
From the family lives of the Bennet sisters and their characterful parents, to the hidden charm, grace, and elegance of the unflappable Mr. Darcy, it might seem as if fans of Austen’s timeless classic, Pride & Prejudice, know all there is to know about this truly great novel. However, within the pages of this much-loved book, there are questions which call out for answers… the greatest of which are: what if everything we believed to be true about the Bennets and their fellow characters was, in fact, a veneer for something quite different? What if the behavior and intentions of the iconic sisters was all an act? And what if Mr. Darcy, Mr. Bingley, and all the other refined gentlemen of Pemberley and beyond were not the genteel and mannered men we saw them to be?
Such questions, such mysteries, and such tantalizing possibilities form the backbone of True Love Never Fails, a daring and bold reimagining of Jane Austen’s most famed and adored work. Throughout the pages of this stunning novel, which abounds in all that we fell in love with in the chapters of Pride & Prejudice – and much more besides – we’re left second-guessing every motive, every word, and every eventuality we thought we knew so well. As readers, we’re taken into the heart of a dazzling set of cliff-hangers and revealed truths… and we’ll never be able to look our favorite characters in the same way again.
Alongside the rollicking storyline that weaves its way through the moral mazes of 18th century English high society, True Love Never Fails introduces its readers to the elusive and serious Mary Bennet. She’s a sister with a secret, and one who holds the key to the heart of the fun-loving Colonel Fitzwilliam, around whom a spiraling storyline forms. As revelation follows revelation, hearts will be broken, bonds will be formed, and the truth behind this timeless novel will be reimagined and revealed. Thanks to the astonishing deftness of the storytelling, and the author’s keen eye for a twist and tantalizing details, readers will find themselves on a new ride through a familiar landscape that’s as breathlessly romantic as it is captivating. From the first page you’ll be hooked, and by the time you reach the the very last, you’ll be calling out for more from this awe-inspiring retelling of Austen’s masterpiece.
Warning – Cliffhanger!

True Love Conquers All

In the anticipated conclusion, True Love Conquers All, author Debra-Ann Kummoung returns you to her unique Pride & Prejudice retelling just hours after the shocking ending in True Love Never Fails… which had cost Mary Bennet her new engagement to Colonel Fitzwilliam.
Elizabeth and Jane along with Darcy and Bingley try to console Mary in the aftermath. Family and friends try to bring our couple back together again, but both are stubborn in their refusal to see the other.
Recalled to war, Colonel Fitzwilliam must depart England, leaving behind his family and friends and most importantly his heart. With the reappearance of an old friend to help him in this difficult time, Colonel Fitzwilliam despairs that he has lost the only lady he has ever loved.
Join the journey across the treacherous ocean to the bustling shores of Portugal and on to the battlefields of Spain. With surprising twists and turns and the steadfastness of a young lady’s heart, discover the truth that true love never fails, but rather despite all obstacles, true love conquers all.

I fell in love with Pride & Prejudice when I read it in high school. Something about that time – the courtly manners of society, the clothing, and so many other things. Don’t get me a wrong, I’m a modern girl and wouldn’t last a day without my modern conveniences, but I can still fantasize about that time period.
My husband is my inspiration for Mr. Darcy & Colonel Fitzwilliam (when the good colonel appears in one of my books). My husband has the manners of Darcy but has been a military man like the colonel – so I got both in one man.
In 2020, I will be release the conclusion to True Love Never Fails… and I will be working on a new book – Mr. Darcy’s Cinderella Bride. I will also be doing a gentle edit on Falling for Elizabeth Bennet.

Interview with YA, clean medieval romances Anna del C. Dye

Tell us where you were born and where do you live now.

I was born in Valparaiso, Chile among famous beaches.

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

It took me about a year before revisions. I published five bilingual  picture books for children in between.

Who or What inspired you to write this book??

The main character, Alexandra. She kept coming to my mind and gave me visions of her life. She is a strong woman though it took her some four months to realized it. I think she needed a sound board before she made sacrifices to save her kingdom from High Chancellor Stanislav’s paws.

What is the title of your book?

Her Prince Charming

Could you give us a back-cover blurb?

A future worth rescuing, a love worth waiting for, and a dream worth sharing

Danger lurks in the court as Stanislav the high chancellor, seizes an opportunity to take the crown and the princess for himself.

Caught between duty and freedom, Princess Alexandra has to chose to be free to find a happy ever after or marry Stanislav as he demands and let him take the crown from her.

When Prince Christoffer offers a solution by marrying her…wouldn’t that mean another marriage without love? However, if she accepts his proposal, she will sentence him to death.

What genre does your book fall under??

Young Adult, Medieval Romance

What kind of impact do you expect your works to have in the reader’s lives?

Beside, entertainment, I would like them to see that when life gets tuff, we need to get tougher by keep trying.

What else might pique the reader’s interest in your book?

This book is loosely written with a Russian theme in mind.

Where can we find your book?

My website:

Barnes & Noble

How many books have you written in the Royal Romance series?

This will be number six. All my books are stand alone and can be read in any order.
