Trouble in the Elf City: The Silent Warrior Trilogy, Book 2

Anna del C. Dye

Just like the first book in the trilogy, my attention was glued to the pages of this book. Not thinking it possible, Anna del C. Dye did an even better job with this one. Picking up right where she left off with the first one, I found myself falling more and more in love with the characters.

Adren is now married to Dellin, her soul mate. They are living in Lothia, the elf city. Now that Adren knows she is part elf, she really feels as though she belongs. Even though the fighting is done, it is in Adren’s blood, so she happens upon a few pupils who are dying to learn how to fight. These secret meetings are kept under wraps because not many people know that Adren is the Silent Warrior that everyone has heard about.

All is well in Lothia, but not for long. It just so happens that most of the troops are away from the city practicing with warriors from other lands, in case there ever comes a time when they need to unite and fight again. Lothia is a very peaceful place where fighting does not occur, so security is lax. Just as their defenses are down the most, they find that they are under attack and prisoners have been taken. The same men that had been vanished to a far away island after the fighting in the last book have found a way back and are looking for revenge.

Adren knows that Lothia needs all the help it can get with fighters because their main force is away. She calls upon her pupils to help fight. Anna del C. Dye hits her readers with another action packed adventure. The description of the fighting is amazing, the characters are heroic and the ending is wonderful. She does such a great job at creating Elvin characters that are so noble, honest and caring, that I can’t help but wish I lived among them!

This is a great book for people of all ages to read and enjoy. Not only is it a great story that you will want to read again and again, but it is also a teaching tool. It teaches the importance of protecting one’s people, staying true to yourself, respecting people regardless of who they are, and helping people when they are in need. These are morals that should be ingrained in all children and adults. Anna del C. Dye, whether meaning to or not, has set up an exciting story that weaves these teachings into her characters through and through. I cannot wait until the third book comes out!!

Delightful Fantasy…

Anna Del C. Dye cleverly provides a glossary of characters and the pronunciation of their names at the beginning of her book. Trouble In Elf City picks up the story of The Elf and The Princess. Trouble In Elf City is a beautiful love story.

Previously Adren discovered her Elfen family. She now happily lives with Dellin and their entwined families. Nevertheless, like all good stories, there is strife. War looms ahead, and the women play an important part in the battle. The women use their intellect as well as their skills to protect their people.

Dye has created and developed fascinating characters. Her plot skillfully draws the reader into the world she created. I can hardly wait for the next installment. Fans of fantasy will enjoy Trouble In Elf City.

Trouble In the Elf City: The Silent Warrior Trilogy-Book Two

Anna del C. Dye

Just as well rounded as the first, and so cleverly written that I didn't want to put it down. It had the same blend of fantasy, romance, and action as the first book, and I can tell it will be a hit. The characters were all very unique and imaginative, and there was lots of description so it was easy to understand. It was very straightforward and fun to read. I could tell that the author had lots of fresh ideas and the story has a solid plot. I'll be looking forward to reading the third book in this exciting trilogy.

Trouble In the Elf City: The Silent Warrior Trilogy-Book Two

Anna Del C. Dye weaves a fantastical tale of bravery in the face of death, love in the face of change and how some secrets can save the world, in a style reminiscent to Tolkien or Paolini, in Trouble in the Elf City, Book Two from The Silent Warrior Trilogy.

The Elf City finds itself in dire straits as their kind begins to turn up missing. But as trouble brews love blossoms. Lovers, however, could be torn apart when a secret is discovered and an unexpected battle is waged. A heroin steps forward, driving the story forward with her undying gusto and determination. The secret she carries could save them all. One thing is certain; the Elf City will never be the same again.

This book has everything fantasy fans cry out for: Sword Play, Action, Romance and … Tea Parties…You will never think of them in the same manner again after reading Trouble in the Elf City.
